Aloha Fridays

Aloha Friday is a cherished tradition in Hawaiʻi that marks the end of the workweek and the beginning of the weekend, celebrated with a laid-back, festive atmosphere. The phrase embodies the island spirit of relaxation, camaraderie, and appreciation of the simple joys of life.

Embrace the spirit of Aloha Friday with us, and take a piece of Hawaiʻi home with you.

Kilolani Spa

Inspired by kilolani (stargazers) of ancient Hawaiʻi who looked to the skies and gauged the ocean tides to navigate and chart their course, the Kilolani Spa experience honors the interconnections between the celestial and spiritual domains, the natural environment, and the human experience.

Join us every Friday as Kilolani Spa honors Aloha Friday with special offers on treatments, services and locally-made products from our island partners.

Local Artisans

Every Friday, join us in the Lobby from 7am - 1pm to explore the creations of local artisans showcasing everything from accessories and fine jewelry to beautiful leis, specialty prints, and more. Every month, we will spotlight a featured artisan, offering you the chance to connect with their story and discover the passion behind their craft.

Kama Lei Design

Kama Lei Design is a family-run business led by master metalsmith Tony, his wife Jayne, and their son Riyadh. A Maui resident for over 40 years, Tony brings decades of experience in Old World jewelry making techniques, working in gold and platinum to create meaningful, handcrafted pieces. Riyadh, raised in the craft, blends traditional European methods with global influences to design jewelry that is both mindful and unique. Since 1983, Kama Lei has grown from a small, wheeled cart to a trusted name in Maui jewelry, offering everything from 40-carat aquamarine pendants to classic Puka shell necklaces.

Grand Wailea Team Members

On Fridays, many locals embrace a casual dress code, often wearing brightly colored, floral-patterned "aloha shirts," which have become a symbol of Hawaiian culture.
