Kilolani Spa
Inspired by kilolani (stargazers) of ancient Hawaiʻi who looked to the skies and gauged the ocean tides to navigate and chart their course, the Kilolani Spa experience honors the interconnections between the celestial and spiritual domains, the natural environment, and the human experience.
Join us every Friday as Kilolani Spa honors Aloha Friday with special offers on treatments, services and locally-made products from our island partners.
Local Artisans
Every Friday, join us in the Lobby from 7am - 1pm to explore the creations of local artisans showcasing everything from accessories and fine jewelry to beautiful leis, specialty prints, and more. Every month, we will spotlight a featured artisan, offering you the chance to connect with their story and discover the passion behind their craft.

Debra Lumpkins
Debra Lumpkins has been a Maui resident since 2008 and is an artist in residence at the Grand Wailea Resort. Specializing in gyotaku, the Japanese art of fish printing, she works closely with local fishermen to memorialize and honor their catch. Fishing is deeply woven into Hawaiian culture, and Debra’s work preserves this tradition by capturing the unique beauty of each fish through her work. Her meticulous process transforms marine life into fine art, creating one-of-a-kind impressions that celebrate both the ocean’s bounty and the people who rely on it.
Grand Wailea Team Members
On Fridays, many locals embrace a casual dress code, often wearing brightly colored, floral-patterned "aloha shirts," which have become a symbol of Hawaiian culture.
